I love me some Cha Seung Won, can never get enough of this charismatic veteran leading man, but seeing only stills of him in the upcoming MBC long sageuk Splendid Politics (Hwajung) is starting to feel like a three legged stool missing two other legs. Where’s the other two leads Lee Yeon Hee and Kim Jae Won? Thankfully MBC heard … Continue reading →
I said a sincere prayer to the drama gods today once the last frame of Hyde, Jekyll, Me rolled by. Finally my Hyun Bin has been set free, and I along with him and his precious dimples. This drama was at least consistent, remaining crap to the last drop with so few redeeming storytelling moments in between. It’s an embarrassment … Continue reading →
I’ve chosen to be optimistic about the next SBS Wed-Thurs drama The Girl Who Sees Smells. Better that than stalking around my lair like an angry panther plotting how to end the writing career of the screenwriter for Hyde, Jekyll, Me so she never darkens the screen again with her so-called writing. It helps that Smelly Girl looked adorable from … Continue reading →
With the amount of positive and negative buzz around the potential casting of rising young actress Han Groo as the female lead for upcoming vampire sageuk Scholar Who Walks the Night, there’s going to be split reaction now that it’s confirmed she won’t be doing this drama. An update has been released on the casting of Night Scholar and sources confirm that … Continue reading →
Love (or lust, or a combination of both) is in the waters of K-ent and I’m just waiting to see which other star couples get outed this week alone. So far the confirmed Korean celebrity couples since the week started include globetrotting young Hallyu superstar lovebirds Lee Min Ho with Suzy along with actress Park Ha Sun and Ryu Soo Young putting … Continue reading →
This drama casting news was a day late to join in the circus atmosphere from yesterday’s information dump, but maybe KBS was saving the potential best for last? The upcoming KBS Wed-Thurs drama Masked Prosecutor, following after the currently airing ratings leader Unkind Women, has pulled back the curtains to reveal both leads in consideration for drama and to say … Continue reading →
In a drama where a rampaging gorilla makes an appearance in episode 1, which this drama will never be able to live down, it probably isn’t that much of a shocker to see a woman propose marriage to an alternate personality. Whether it’s legal, pretend, or just to assuage Robin’s departing woes, Hyde, Jekyll, Me manages to up the crazy antics … Continue reading →
This Wednesday is going to go down as one of the wildest K-drama casting news bonanzas in a long time. It was just missing an out-of-the-blue shocker to cap the crazy, like Won Bin was doing a drama with Jeon Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho was the baddie or something like that. The Hong sisters drama Feeling Good and … Continue reading →
I’m so ready to say goodbye to Hyde, Jekyll, Me, but totally not ready to say goodbye to seeing Hyun Bin on the small screen. That’s the same feeling that leads me to love Seo Jin but feel nothing for Robin, so I guess it’s fitting what with this drama being all about a man suffering from DID. Episode 19 … Continue reading →
I’ll believe this latest drama casting news when the actual dramas airs and not a moment before that. With that said, all the news portals are reporting this casting as confirmed so let’s go with that for the time being. Original Hallyu superstar actress Lee Young Ae, she of the titular saeguk drama Dae Jang Geum which remains the most watched … Continue reading →
Drama casting is on a roll today so I might as well soldier on. Let’s go a bit older and a whole lot sexier when it comes to this latest drama coupling. With the jTBC sageuk Maids wrapping up soon, to be followed in that time slot by the Jung Kyung Ho and Kim So Yeon heart transplant romance Falling … Continue reading →
What is going on with drama casting news today? I’m exhausted already and am only halfway through the drama news that’s come out in the last few hours alone. All the Chilbongie fans from Answer Me 1994 can start preparing to rejoice soon – Yoo Yeon Seok has been confirmed as the male lead for the Hong sisters upcoming rom-com Feeling Good … Continue reading →
Oh %*#&! This casting news makes the earlier news of Changmin possibly doing his first sageuk role with Scholar Who Walks the Night sound like a brilliant casting coup. Hyeri of dol group Girl’s Day is reportedly in talks for the female lead of upcoming tvN drama Answer Me 1988, the third drama in the popular Answer Me series. The AN series isn’t known … Continue reading →
