Last year in 2022 was the first ever Blue Dragon Series Awards as the awards body until then was exclusively a movie awards ceremony. So this year in 2023 its only the 2nd annual Blue Dragon Series Awards and last nights in person ceremony was full of big name stars but devoid of any meaningful and well dressed fashion per usual. Song Hye Kyo continues her awards wins by taking home the Daesang for her performance in The Glory. The drama didn’t win Best Drama which instead went to Disney+ drama Big Bet (Korean title Casino), interesting choice. Suzy won Best Actress for Anna and Ha Jung Woo won Best Actor for Narco-Saints. I also need to point out Park Eun Bin and the drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo was not even nominated anywhere so that’s also weird. Lim Ji Yeon was again Best Supporting Actress for The Glory with Lee Dong Hwi from Big Bet taking home Best Supporting Actor. Park Ji Hoon for Weak Class Hero 1 and Shin Ye Eun for Revenge of Others were the Best New Actor winners. My favorite dress was Shin Ye Eun simply because it was different and fit her nicely and the biggest hot mess is Gong Hyo Jin who goes for her usual wacky and weird styling.
