This billing order shit is getting out of had, but then again it flares up and peters out in waves so I hope it dies down again ASAP. A new drama got cast this week and it’s relatively high profile, it’s the next drama from director and screenwriter Guo Jing Ming (Edward Guo) whose most recent drama was the stylish … Continue reading →
Filming is still underway for Tang dynasty period C-drama The Legend of Jewelry, which takes former second lead costars Zhao Lu Si and Liu Yu Ning from The Long Ballad and gives them the level up to leads for this big budget drama. Not gonna lie, I am so pumped for this drama it’s not even funny, especially on the … Continue reading →
There are some stars one just vibes that his or her career is basically over and I sense that from K-actress Han Ye Seul. And I mean only her career as a leading lady in K-ent, she can still be a celebrity in many ways but the decade where she was a top leading drama actress is now ten years … Continue reading →
After all that public fighting over billing order for Sword and Fairy 4 (Chinese Paladin 4), this mix up is especially funnier and more karmic for the production company. This week on one of the streaming landing pages for the drama, eagle eyed viewers noticed that the names of leads Ju Jing Yi and Chen Zhe Yuan instead read Liu … Continue reading →
I can totally see K-actress Gong Hyo Jin working a lot in the next two years, what with her singer husband Kevin Oh currently serving in the military after enlisting for his service last month in December 2023. She has the big budget K-drama When Stars Talk opposite Lee Min Ho coming out sometime this year and now she’s in … Continue reading →
It frustrates me to no end when a star’s own fandom ends up being his or her worst enemy, and this happens a lot in C-ent moreso than other industries. In trying to promote and fight for their own star, it ends up leaving other fans disliking said star. The latest backfire is with Chen Zhe Yuan, who just got … Continue reading →
Being a mom I’ve done my share of telling the kids “like, maybe doing that is a baaaad idea, baby” and dealing with either agreement or insistence on going ahead. The decision to make a C-movie adaptation of The Journey of Flower from the original source novel nearly ten years after the hit C-drama adaptation just seems like a giant … Continue reading →
So one of the most high profile K-dramas of 2024 has kicked off production as male lead Kim Woo Bin posted a picture of his character name placard on the table of what appears to be the script reading for the drama Everything Will Come True. It’s written by ratings magnet and probably the most well known screenwriter in K-drama … Continue reading →
I’ll seen this movie before and it certainly feels like major ass covering. The Anti-corruption division of a major Seoul police department has done a raid and search of the offices of tabloid Dispatch as well as the drug division of another police department, the one that was in charge of the original drug use and blackmail investigation into now … Continue reading →
So this is a step up in all ways for me and I hope he accepts the role. Yeo Jin Gu is up for the male lead of K-drama Serenade (Saraenaedae) and if that drama title sounds familiar it’s the sageuk that was in talks with Jo Byung Gyu and he ended up not signing on for. It’s a lighter … Continue reading →
Dayum, Park Min Young deserves a you go girl but from all accounts the success of this K-drama is a group effort. tvN Mon-Tues drama Marry My Husband is a bona fide hit and deserves all the accolades as not going are the ratings continuing to go up there is a lot of buzz around it as well. Park Min … Continue reading →
So last week wasn’t just a some K-dramas ending, it was also the premiere of tvN weekend sageuk drama Captivating the King. The drama stars Jo Jung Seok as the King and Shin Se Kyung as the spy captivating him if we take the drama title literally but as cheesy as the title is the drama itself is a classic … Continue reading →
So I think this one is coming soon as well and who knows we may have two currently airing Xu Kai dramas at the same time. I don’t mind, love this boy but I could do with spacing his dramas out more so I have more time to enjoy. The modern workplace romance C-drama As Beautiful as You with Tan … Continue reading →
