This is either the hardest C-drama to cast or just made for generating casting buzz. In a full six months since Zhao Lu Si has been cast as the female lead of Tang Dynasty period drama Pearl Curtain Jade Curtain basically 2/3rds of the C-ent drama actor have been rumored as the male lead. So far not a single dude … Continue reading →
The awesomeness of slow burn mystery period C-drama My Journey to You has me fully back on the wuxia train and there’s a finished filming wuxia drama on deck to air in A Journey to Love. Starring Liu Shi Shi and Liu Yu Ning, the two leads were at a press event this week promoting the drama and also released … Continue reading →
It’s clear that K-actress Park Eun Bin is top of her age group class among actresses after Extraordinary Attorney Woo, for her next drama Castaway Diva I’ve rarely seen such a solo female-lead centric story and promos for anyone else in that same range. The drama is scheduled for October 2023 in the Sat-Sun time slow after Arthdal Chronicles 2: … Continue reading →
I feel like Liu Shi Shi tends to work in waves and right now she has A Journey to Love with Liu Yu Ning on deck and she’s adding to that with Fox Spirit Matchmaker series second installment the Zhu Ye chapter with male lead Zhang Yun Long. The Yue Hong chapters stars Yang Mi and Gong Jun and has … Continue reading →

The recent resolution of C-actress Yuan Bing Yan‘s tax scandal last week after over a year since news broke that she was under investigation goes to show that there is a lot going on behind the scenes. I love a positive breakout story and the male lead of Moving definitely earned it. Young actor Lee Jung Ha went from just starting out his entertainment career with small parts in a few dramas to headlining the buzziest K-drama of 2023. To play bumbling sweet natured fly boy Kim Bong Seok, he put on 30 kgs of weight to … Continue reading →
I swear that tvN drama Castaway Diva (Diva of the Deserted Island) was one of those still far away dramas but with the first teaser released this weekend it’s coming next month in October. That’s wild but not as wild as the premise that an island bumpkin girl gets lost on an even more deserted island for years and years … Continue reading →
So those who watched the weirdo makjang time-travel drama Lady Durian will get the same whiplash feel for the set up of this upcoming MBC drama The Story of Widow Park’s Marriage Contract. The drama stars Lee Se Young as a Joseon newlywed wife whose husband Bae In Hyuk dies on their marriage night and she gets tossed in a … Continue reading →
