I’ll give major props to SBS with the production team of upcoming Fri-Sat drama One Dollar Lawyer (One Thousand Won Lawyer) actually matching the creative and kooky concept of the drama in its promo materials. Two new drama posters are out for this legal drama headlining Namgoong Min paired with Kim Ji Eun and both are super cool and creative. … Continue reading →
It’s been over a decade since C-drama Bu Bu Jing Xin ended up being as good if not better than the book in an adaptation. Since then the leads have gone on their own careers but the littlest member of the cast is making a splashy young adult debut recently. Child actress Chai Wai has emerged back in the C-ent … Continue reading →
Watching The Law Cafe (Love by Law) elicits first the feeling of deja vu. Like, the sense that I’ve seen this or that before, or maybe all of this and that before in other prior K-dramas. The horrible corrupt lawyer dad leading the son to give up (Uncontrollably Fond), the cute cafe boys with different personalities (Coffee Prince), the shrieky … Continue reading →
It’s been boiling hot where I live for the past few days, kinda ruined a long weekend with me electing to cancel going out stuff and marinate at home in the AC. But it was still too hot to enjoy prime drama marathoning so I still have plenty to catch up on, but who knew I would already be fanning … Continue reading →

There is too much background noise with C-ent and if you’re still fan of their production whenever an extraordinary drama or movie is released then please by all means follow along but know it’s a crap shoot. An upcoming C-drama I’m super interested in is A Journey to Love (Chinese title 一念关山 which has the literal meaning One Thought About … Continue reading →

The Little Women K-drama that is inspired by the famous book of the same name but then has not much to do with the plot of that book is off to the races this weekend to better reception than fanfare. The 12-episode drama starring Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, and Wi Ha Joon is not one … Continue reading →

The currently airing SBS Fri-Sat drama Today’s Webtoon is now officially the lowest rated drama in the network time slot for 2022, with the low of 1.5% and the high of 4.1% when it premiered. It’s averaging in the 2% range and K-ent is saying that even Kim Se Jung can’t bring in ratings for this drama despite her streak … Continue reading →

Reportedly there are a few in the works currently filming or soon to film for 2023 including Nothing But You (爱情而已 Love Only) starring Zhou Yu Tong and Wu Lei. The drama … Continue reading →
