A new modern romance C-drama is cast and heading into production next month. It’s adapted from a popular C-novel Be Passionately in Love (陷入我们的çƒçƒˆ Sinking into Out Heated Passion) and will star resurgent C-actress Liu Hao Cun with Wang An Yu. Her career is back on track thanks to the unexpected success of C-drama Derailment while his big break that … Continue reading →
So C-actress Zhao Lu Si and her partnership with Italian couture house Versace is not off to a good start this year. Her attendance in Macau last month got a lot of negative feedback for her outfit, makeup, and her general visuals. She’s tiny and petite, totally beautiful but not the type of towering model looks that can pull off … Continue reading →
This may be an April Fool’s joke but C-ent insiders are saying that the deepest buried BL-novel adapted C-drama may get an air drop this month in April. The drama is a modern story titled Chasing the Light starring Wang An Yu and Fan Cheng Cheng adapted from the novel My Left Shoulder Has You. The novel is about the … Continue reading →
I personally use anything over 7 as decent and worth checking out when a drama opens on Douban the crowd rating site in C-ent. Over 8 is amazing and around 6 is mediocre, and anything below that in the 5s and under is avoid at all costs. Xianxia C-drama The Last Immortal (Hidden God) wrapped its run last week and … Continue reading →
I think this is one where anti-fans are really not at play and C-actor Wang An Yu really just failed to delivered for what was required. He’s been a rising lead actor and this year popular with fans thanks to joining Divas Hit the Road season 5. His side reportedly was banking on The Last Immortal to permanently level him … Continue reading →
So it’s now past the midway point for xianxia C-drama The Last Immortal which is proving itself quite mortal to growing criticism. The drama premiered with a bang, a fast rise out of the gate and solid first impressions. It looked like Zhao Lu Si‘s first big S-level female lead top billed drama would cement her level but now it’s … Continue reading →
I’m a little eyebrow raise on this statistic but whatevers, kudos to Tencent for drumming up interest in it’s new xianxia C-drama The Last Immortal as it hit 6 million reservations of viewers ahead of tomorrow’s premiere. I would have given Tencent’s record C-drama this year to The Longest Promise which had 5 million reservations but it didn’t break 6. … Continue reading →
So this one really may be the last big C-drama to premiere before year end, I thought after A Journey to Love the platforms would wait for lunar new year to come. Tencent announced today The Last Immortal (Hidden God) with Zhao Lu Si and Wang An Yu will drop next Monday December 11th. This is the first big budget … Continue reading →
Hooboy, I am now more excited and also more nervous for upcoming xianxia C-drama The Last Immortal. I’m more excited because I quite liked the first teaser just released, not love yet but it doesn’t have too much of the annoying xianxia tropes. I’m nervous because of Zhao Lu Si‘s dialogue reading, OMG she is going to be raked through … Continue reading →
Today on August 22nd is also lunar date July 7th which means Chinese Valentine’s Day, which remains a celebrated date but so does Western Valentine’s Day on February 14th so it’s like getting two V-days heh. Many of the upcoming C-dramas released cute couple featured dramas or BTS pics to promote their drama on this day and most are just … Continue reading →
Okay, the ladies of upcoming xianxia C-drama The Last Immortal (Hidden God) absolutely look like birds of paradise come to life in outfit form lol. The almost completed filming C-drama stars Zhao Lu Si, Wang An Yu, and Li Run Yui in the sequel story to Ancient Love Poetry with a new generation of gods and goddesses taking love to … Continue reading →
I have no idea what dang video I may have paused over a second too long on FB because the last few weeks I’ve been getting recommended videos for the xianxia drama Ancient Love Poetry. Still have no desire to watch it lol but it is interesting to see snippets and still think “yeah, Xu Kai and Zhou Dong Yu … Continue reading →
The Valentine’s Day drop of romantic OTP posters for upcoming C-dramas has released two for the xianxia drama The Last Immortal (Hidden God). Starring Zhao Lu Si and Wang An Yu, I like the color and posing for both posters and am really really glad the leads ended up being these two because they look really visually compatible.
