What a fantastic ending to a fun ride all around from the recently wrapped Fuji TV renzouku dorama 5-ji kara 9-ji made (From Five to Nine) with charismatic and gorgeous leads Yamashita Tomohisa and Ishihara Satomi. I haven’t had this much fun watching a dorama since Rich Man, Poor Woman, which coincidentally also starred Satomi. I knew my Yamapi was just wasting his … Continue reading →
These four lead stills from the script reading of upcoming MBC Wed-Thurs drama One More Happy Ending makes me quite happy indeed. The production already released group stills from the script reading but this week followed up with full portraits of leads Jung Kyung Ho, Jang Nara, Yoo In Na, and Kwon Yul, each in quiet and serious study of … Continue reading →
Two huge gossipy items in the same week is totally manna from Heaven for C-ent, not to mention the huge stars involved. First up is HK superstars Faye Wong and Nicholas Tse, they of the romance of the ages (and ageless) that is even more juicy and incredible than any drama plot line – they of the noona-dongsaeng romance spanning … Continue reading →
Namgong Min is one hardworking bloke, but with his acting career on such an upswinging roll who can blame him. He’s currently doing his best psychopathic acting as the antagonist on the SBS drama Remember, but once that’s done he’s already lined up his next gig. Namgong Min will be the male lead in entertainment industry romance drama One and … Continue reading →
The just released character posters for upcoming jTBC romance Madame Antoine work for me so much I’m a little surprised since the drama wasn’t on my radar too much initially. Leads Han Ye Seul and Sung Joon theoretically make a solid coupling so the casting works for me, but their presence alone didn’t elevate this drama to much watch status. … Continue reading →
The winter weather has descended on Taiwan in full force, but a warm gust blew in along with it in the form of Hallyu star Lee Min Ho. It was his first visit to Taiwan in over a year but his popularity hasn’t waned in the least judging by the massive crowd that showed up for his promotional event in … Continue reading →
Casting rumor say whut? I swear this is not some one off rumor and is instead being reported by various media outlets, so it’s probably levels above fan service but still way too impossible to pull off for me to think it’ll end up happening, even if it’s really being discussed. The world might be getting three Bins for the … Continue reading →
Don’t say I didn’t warn you, but this chapter of Lost You Forever is intense and rough. So get your tissues ready and expect it to hurt and hurt really really bad right where the heart is. LYF has been a sadness train for many episodes now, ever since Jing fell into the river and Xiao Yao’s so close happy … Continue reading →
For those wondering when the Korean love affair with Kim Soo Hyun will end, the answer is not anytime soon. Kim Soo Hyun and retired champion figure skater Kim Yuna have just been awarded the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2015 National Brand Awards. It’s no surprise a country as patriotic and proud of its culture and heritage would have such … Continue reading →
Wahhhh, things are getting intense fast in Marry Me or Not on all fronts. I wished the drama would reveal what really went down in college between Huan Huan and that asswipe Jiang Qian Yao, because right now I don’t have a good about him other than if he gets between Huan Huan and Justin then he’ll get a good … Continue reading →
With Kang Sora declining 2016 SBS K-drama Hello My Precious, there is fast movement on the leading lady casting front with Oh Yeon Seo reportedly in talks for the role opposite Rain. She’s not an actress I particularly like but she’s one of the rising stars in K-dramas these days thanks to successive well-received dramas Come! Jang Bori and Shine … Continue reading →
ba I feel like lately TW-dramas have hit a nice top of the bell curve in watchability, with a steady stream of shows that range from nicely done to spectacularly awesome. I’m watching two in Taste of Love and Marry Me or Not, an will soon add a third in Be With Me (Chinese title Dance Dance Together). Starring Queen … Continue reading →
TW-superstar idol queen Jolin Tsai totally declared at the 2015 MAMA in Hong Kong that she still PWNS the Cpop music scene even after fifteen years and countless challengers. I’m thrilled for her, having come to appreciate her craft more recently rather than her early years trying to make her mark on idol-dom. After MAMA two weeks ago, she’s remained in Hong … Continue reading →
