Money was clearly no limitation for the lavish and star-studded wedding ceremony of top Chinese stars Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy. It was as luxurious and over-the-top as Jay Chou‘s nuptials to Hannah Quinlivan last year, minus only the English castle backdrop but plus dozens more celebrity guests since it wasn’t a destination wedding. The newlyweds actually got married officially a few months ago when they received their legal marriage certificate from the Chinese government, but married isn’t really married in Chinese culture until the happy couple goes through all the ceremonial hoohah such as tea ceremony and ancestral piety and whatnot. The guest list at this wedding is seriously no joke, a who’s who of Chinese and Taiwanese entertainment, and I found the wedding pictures (taken in Paris) and pictures from the actual ceremony to all be beautiful even if slightly ostentatious.
