It’s hitting the midway point for xianxia C-drama Till the End of the Moon and so far I’m still entertained but it’s not going to become my fave xianxia drama of all time. Luo Yun Xi is fantastic despite his less than imposing physical stature, onscreen he’s commanding a strong presence and that’s all that matters. Bai Lu is radiant … Continue reading →
There is absolutely nothing wrong or problematic about modern sports romance C-drama Nothing But You but then there was also nothing gripping and exciting about it. It felt very hygge is you asked me to ascribe a mood to it, warm and cozy. The drama had Zhou Yu Tong as the older competent career woman falling for college aged hot … Continue reading →
Of all the K-dramas to adapt, I feel like C-ent is getting on the wrong side of doing trendy versus substantive. This week has confirmed the C-drama remake of sageuk youth drama Hwarang which was a disappointment in both production and ratings but does have the record of most good looking flower boy stars in one drama. C-netizens are not … Continue reading →
Well this is one huge melon if I ever saw one, but in C-rumor land nothing is ever 100% untrue until the official announcement otherwise. C-ent this week has a rumor that Jackson Yee (Yi Yang Qian Xi) and Zhao Lu Si will be pairing up for a big budget C-drama League of Legends directed by award winning director Zhang … Continue reading →
So this is either great publicity drumming or a way to counterprogram. There were a lot of C-dramas finished in 2021 and 2022 that fans have been dying to watch and the released earlier this month of Till the End of the Moon was the oasis water for period fans parched desert thirst. But now comes rumors that Story of … Continue reading →
So xianxia (fantasy wuxia) C-drama fans have been on a tear the last six days thanks to the premiere of Till the End of the Moon with Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi. I knew this drama would be a hit after watching the first two episodes and surprisingly liking to so much, xianxia rarely works for me since it … Continue reading →
The passing of time in the C-novel Lost You Forever is in the hundreds and thousands of years marking the lives and loves of the gods and goddesses with their outsized pathos. For the C-drama this month marks the one year anniversary of filming start and the production released a new official BTS video and stills to celebrate. The video … Continue reading →

Okay, the ladies of upcoming xianxia C-drama The Last Immortal (Hidden God) absolutely look like birds of paradise come to life in outfit form lol. The almost completed filming C-drama stars Zhao Lu Si, Wang An Yu, and Li Run Yui in the sequel story to Ancient Love Poetry with a new generation of gods and goddesses taking love to … Continue reading →
I don’t know why there has been no official trailer for xianxia period C-drama Till the End of the Moon until now like 3 days before the premiere. Better now than never and whether this drama is any good will be known soon and I know lots of C-drama fans are clamoring for a gripping dog blood-esque xianxia drama with … Continue reading →
I remember when these images first leaked last year from the filming of modern sports romance C-drama Nothing But You that everyone myself included was like ooooooh sexy! It still is sexy but in the context of the drama after watching the first few episodes it feels like the production is trying a tad too hard to drum up excitement … Continue reading →
So last week was the premiere of modern sports romance drama Nothing But You (Chinese title Love Only) and honestly it was totally uneventful. Neither good or bad, it just was, and if it wasn’t for male lead Wu Lei I would have no reason to keep watching. Half of the drama continues the distractingly sanitized professional and personal look … Continue reading →
Those C-drama fans on a high budget xianxia drama drought can get excited now, Youku has scheduled long finished Till the End of the Moon (Chang Yue Jin Ming) with Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi for April 6th, the end of this week. This is the drama I associate with Luo Yun Xi dressed like xianxia Sith Lord and … Continue reading →
