It’s Monday so right on cue KBS released more Tomorrow’s Cantabile goodies. There are now a total of three official drama posters that all share the same beige color scheme along with plenty of instruments to highlight the music theme. The first drama poster was a very romantic skewing one where Joo Won stares at his smiling leading lady played … Continue reading →
There’s been a steady stream of upcoming K-dramas that are fun to discuss which established or up-and-coming star would headline it. Sadly there isn’t a female-centric project coming up in sight which means Yoon Eun Hye will probably not be coming back to the small screen anytime soon. When I say female-centric it means the drama revolves around the female … Continue reading →
If ever there was a recently premiered SBS K-drama that could use a boost in the cast guesting on the variety show Running Man, then My Lovely Girl would be one of my top picks. Watching it is an entertaining experience partially due to how it confounds me with such glaring awkwardness in regular intervals. A cute scene of Shi … Continue reading →
What I love about My Spring Days is how many levels there are to the love story. Bom-yi is re-falling in love with the family she met all those years ago when she returned little Poo-reun. Dong-ha is allowing his heart to remember love when he sees how open and generous Bom-yi is with him and his kids. Her warmth and … Continue reading →
I think it’s easy for me to write about breaking celeb dating news because I don’t take it seriously nor do I get personally invested in some random couple working out. I like it if the pairing seems like a good fit or if I happen to like the two entertainers in question. When it works out I get to … Continue reading →
I’m simultaneously impressed and concerned with the first tidbits to come out from the production of the Korean adaptation of Liar Game. I’m currently enamored of My Secret Hotel on tvN so am in no rush for that drama to get off the air so that its follow up Liar Game will arrive. For folks not into MSH then maybe … Continue reading →
After translating thirty-eight dense chapters and following the drama progress for over two years, I think I’m done writing about Da Mo Yao. At least done when it comes to having more opinions about the casting, struggle to get on air, and first peeks at the end product. The upcoming C-drama renamed Sound of the Desert is finally arriving on the small screen … Continue reading →
Upcoming mega-budget and scope MBCÂ joint Korea-Chinese production K-drama Kill Me Heal Me continues to trickle down news for a better understanding of what to expect. I wish the network would just go full Heirs and release a comprehensive synopsis and let the speculation have more teeth to it. This weekend starts off with a two pronged update from the production … Continue reading →
This is a completely random post and I haven’t done of of these in ages. There is just too many dramas, books, movies and the like dropping nonstop I don’t even have time to write about a quarter of the new entertainment much less fritter away time on frivolous commentary. With that said, I’m so in love with L‘s blond … Continue reading →
Translating this chapter of Lost You Forever took forever because it’s basically three chapters in length, not to mention the tears and snot that poured forth which required me to take numerous breaks in order to calm myself down. This is by far the most touching and devastatingly sad chapter of LYF but it’s not sad for Xiao Yao or … Continue reading →
I am sooooo ready for Yamapi as the teacher falling for a student in the upcoming live-action J-movie adaptation of the popular shoujo manga Kinkyori Renai. There are multiple excitement factors as play for me with respect to Yamashita Tomohisa‘s first movie in three years since Ashita no Joe. That one was also a live-action adaptation of a classic beloved … Continue reading →
I think there’s a couple more months ahead, or even longer than that, before readers and even myself get used to the fact that I now like Lee Jong Seok. It’s currently like and not yet love so I sure hope his next drama Pinocchio with Park Shin Hye won’t suddenly tank my existing good will for him. Still can’t … Continue reading →
I’m so grateful tvN quickly released a preview for episode 11 of My Secret Hotel. It goes a long way in assuring folks that the fat lady hasn’t sung yet and there is still plenty of twists and turns left to determine which smexy hottie wins Sang Hyo’s heart. For all of the deserving knocks on Hae Young being too … Continue reading →
