So this the second least fan happy reunion of 2024 dramas, after Zhao Lu Si and Liu Yu Ning currently filming The Legend of Jewelry. Filming has commenced this week of period C-drama Flourished Peony starring Yang Zi and Li Xian in another formerly popular onscreen OTP reunion from Go Go Squid. One would think a successful outing a prior … Continue reading →
It’s a bad week to be Ro Woon but this too shall pass as it’s not the biggest faux pas. The actor attended and co-hosted the 2023 KBS Drama Awards and received criticism for both. For the hosting, he was dogged for being stuff and reading off the teleprompter when his other co-hosts were natural and conversational with this hosting. … Continue reading →
It’s interesting to see reception for a drama morph as it progresses and recently aired sci-fi romance C-drama Derailment has seen exactly that. Two weeks ago when the drama premiered it was received poorly thanks to female lead Liu Hao Cun’s bad real life reputation and also the confusing promos making the drama seem overwrought and weepy with a confusing … Continue reading →
Happy 2024 y’all! Next year will be a quarter century so I hope this year goes slower and I can enjoy it more. One reason time passes fast I feel is that we are always looking forward to something, like a new drama for example. In looking forward we may overlook the present. That said, I still can’t wait for … Continue reading →
So this is the latest and greatest on the airing date for The Prisoner of Beauty. I’m still on the buzz from marathoning the novel, it’s really addicting and the good outweighs the bad parts of it so I’m definitely wanting the drama to air as soon as possible. C-ent insiders are saying it’s now on deck at Tencent for … Continue reading →
So this is the kind of tea I love, harmless and hilarious if true and if not then the end result is a good drama rather than a bad so even better. Chen Fei Yu and Wang Ying Lu just started filming C-drama Offering Fish (Xian Yu) based on the popular novel Offering Salted Fish to Master and already the … Continue reading →
So this post is a bit late but it’s still a cute new look to share about. C-actress Zhao Lu Si has sported the same long locks for I think since her debut, it’s a look that works so why mess with it. Jeon Ji Hyun has basically one look for over twenty years and she’s still top visuals. Zhao … Continue reading →
So the are they dating news from last year during the filming of Story of Kunning Palace is basically all but confirmed with leads Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He. And the end result was the drama was fantastic and their chemistry was fantastic, win and win. But before the drama aired the rumor was the two had broken up … Continue reading →
It was the night for prestige sageuk drama My Dearest over at the MBC Year End Drama Awards. Male lead Namgoong Min won the Daesang for his performance in the drama, Best Couple with Ahn Eun Jin, which also took home Best Drama. So this C-drama immediately jumps to the most anticipated releases of 2024 thanks to Xiao Zhan being the male lead, and I actually like female lead Zhang Jing Yi so it’s a win-win. The drama currently is titled Zang Hai Zhuan which translates to Hidden Sea Chronicles and seems like an epic sweeping tale of adventure and romance. I like … Continue reading →
So this story if true sounds so plausible and probably happens often to rich and powerful men who have something he wants to keep from becoming public. K-ent is reporting on the alleged blackmail that resulted in Lee Seon Kyun‘s alleged drug use coming to light in early October and subsequently the text messages between him and the bar Madam. … Continue reading →
So this looks a lot better from the preview than the posters and stills promos thus far. I was worried Dr. Slump would be like another burn out from job former classmates fall in love drama Law Cafe which was just so stagnant and localized and despite having two leads I love did not create alchemy together. The teaser for … Continue reading →
Twas not the summer of Yang Yang and boy does he have a hole to climb back out of. But luckily for him, the flop that was Fireworks of My Heart doesn’t appear to be career breaking and also equal blame was placed on his female lead Wang Chu Ran. After the bad reviews he went off to film xianxia … Continue reading →
