One of my faves is back and its fitting that he’s taking over for another fave going away. Eider released the first CF stills for its upcoming Fall 2020 ad campaign featuring Kim Woo Bin and Han So Hee. Long time spokesperson Park Bo Gum is also in the campaign but it’ll likely be his last as he’s heading to … Continue reading →
Hoo boy was there was lot to unpack and digest in episode 12 of It’s Okay to Not be Okay. The signs where there all along that Moon Young’s mom may (1) not be dead, and (2) may be more evil than simply an emotional child abuser. The possibility that she may be the butterfly killer of Kang Tae and … Continue reading →
The last time I watched a K-drama with a zombie in it, she totally stole my heart with her plight. It was Lee Se Young‘s character in Hwayugi (A Korean Odyssey) and she was really the beating heart of that drama for me despite her not having a beating heart. Choi Jin Hyuk will give it a shot next playing … Continue reading →

You can only get progress and catharsis from what is stagnant and seemingly hopeless, and episode 11 of It’s Okay to Not be Okay delivered tons of incredibly satisfying forward momentum without any of the usual K-drama tropes. Kang Tae and Moon Young’s breakup was as short as it should be considering how it solved no problems and allowed Sang … Continue reading →

I think K-star Suzy has had a really smooth ride as a star in a cutthroat and relentless industry. The worst thing she has to deal with is valid … Continue reading →
It’s going to be telling of your age/generation if you thought upcoming MBC romance When I was Most Beautiful straight up copied a scene from Ghost. Of course she’s … Continue reading →
Okay, by the time this article posts the entire thing may be back up and running, at which point we can all talk about the Great Soompi Forum Outage of 2020 which lasted all of 48 hours. But this time everything seems off and the outage again has gone one for over 2 days so I’m not sure if Soompi … Continue reading →

The cast is rounding out for the upcoming jTBC drama Monster, but there is still no word on what the drama is about. Despite the scary sounding name, I don’t think it’s a horror, and most likely a murder detective mystery genre. Maybe? Starring the dual male leads of Shin Ha Kyun and Yeo Jin Gu, the cast is adding … Continue reading →
