You know how all signs points to something most likely going to suck, but the love is just too strong to pass it by without having a glance. That’s how I feel about upcoming K-drama Moon Lovers, the K-adaptation of popular C-novel Bu Bu Jing Xin (Startling with Each Step). Starting from the inane name change, the whole thing reeks … Continue reading →
When a story is about fantasy realms with gods and reincarnation, it doesn’t hurt to cast as close as can be to the visual description in the novel. That’s the case with the upcoming highly anticipated by fans adaptation of the period fantasy novel Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms by writer Tang Qi Gong Zi. Starring reknowned … Continue reading →

Hot on the heels of news that Hallyu actor Lee Jong Seok was going to headline upcoming Korean-Chinese co-production C-drama Emerald Jade Lover, now comes the spoiler leak that his leading lady will be C-actress Zheng Shuang. I have a hard time finishing any Zheng Shuang drama, but honestly I … Continue reading →

It’s about time there was some concrete drama casting news with Park Shin Hye, and even if this is just discussion level it’s still something for me to look forward to. It’s a testament to to top Korean actress Jeon Ji Hyun‘s star appeal and selling power that many of her major endorsement deals continue to churn out new CF ads with her despite her pregnancy. Not that I have a problem with pregnant women, stars or not, being in CFs, but with Jeon Ji Hyun the ads have cleverly worked … Continue reading →
I know one present I’d be thrilled to get for Christmas – Park Hyung Sik in a wrapped box please! The charming and charismatic idol-actor is on the cover and pages of Sure Magazine in an early start to welcome the upcoming holiday season. I still marvel over how he was utterly forgettable in Heirs, probably due to Kim Woo … Continue reading →
How can one picture drive me insane with want? I need to have a talk with someone over at the production of TW-drama Marry Me or Not and get the insider scoop on the secret sauce. Whatever magic they are wielding, it’s electric and addictive, with each new episode raising the bar ever higher. This is an amazing drama, whether … Continue reading →
