This K-drama is like made the exact opposite of what would interest me lol. No offense but I’ve still not watched Breaking Bad so Narco-Saints can pack itself with as many A-listers as it has and I’ll still nod appreciatively that this drama exists while having no urge to watch. It’s going to appeal to Mr. Koala for sure and from the first weekend premiere numbers also the general public. It premiered to number 6 worldwide and number 5 in the US market. The reviews are mixed but probably more like it than not, the detractors think this type of TV show has been done better (see Breaking Bad and many other drug thrillers) and this one didn’t have great directing or script despite the award winning cast of Ha Jung Woo, Hwang Jung Min, Park Hae Soo, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, and TW-actor Chang Chen. The best reviews surprisingly go to Jo Woo Jin, he’s getting raves across the board and I say surprise since he’s getting praise over four major Best Actor winners in the same cast.
